New Legend of Galactic Heroes

I am a huge fan of the original series so I'm watching the new one. Considering the updates in technology between now and then, I feel a new series had to be appropriate at some point. I do enjoy it but I just miss the old voice cast, especially Reinhardt being voiced by Ryo Horikawa. 

Other than that, the anime is pretty good and should appeal to those who prefer newer anime. Wen Li's habits of always rubbing the back of his head and love for tea still remain. If you love sci-fi, I recommend it.

I'm about to start this series. Are there any major differences between the new and the old one?

I prefer classics in their original state and generally stay away from remakes as they tend to suck.
