I haven't really had much chances to read Jojolion in awhile but I am very pleased with the anime adaptation so far with the previous story arcs by David. Diamond is Unbreakable is very faithful to the manga in terms of art and i always like it includes the onomotepias (sp?). I love how the anime captures the original psychedelic nature to the series and has managed to get the right seiyuus for most of its characters. With Dio, Koyasu Takehito was great, but Chiba Isshin will always be Dio to me.
I totally love Unshou Ishizuka (the voice of Miyata-san) as old Jospeh. He really nails the role. And Takagi Wataru (who you may know as Aoki) is perfect as Okayasu. My favorite performance so far is Morikubo Shotaro's Akira/Red Hot Chilli Pepper. He just nailed it for me.

Part 4 is really fun so far. Giving Aoki's voice to Okuyasu was the perfect choice.
I recently watched the OVA again and I still enjoyed them. The DIO fight is just badass beyond believe.

i am loving the part 4 anime right now the suff with kira is awesome plus Toshiyuki Morikawa ( the voice of volg) is amazing as kira. the only problem i have is that they have moved some of the story around so t doesnt happen in the same order as the manga.

I suppose it is the easiest to adapt in the sense of simple life without many special effects (other than Stands); both part 1 and 2 are historical set pieces, and part 3 is a travelogue. Part 5 has too many famous locations on its last leg and part 6 wasn't the most popular back when it was published. On the other hand, part 4's locations should be easier to recreate. Plus it has the current anime appeal too.
For me it's interesting it is going to be filmed in Spain, maybe sometime I could fly down to see what they are up to?
Anime just got to Bite the Dust now, and it is glorious.

So Golden Wind is upon us and is fantastic. Maybe the most fun I've had with Jojo anime so far, if only because I felt the manga wasn't all that great (amusing but sub par: I did read the old scans for what is worth). The anime feels like it improves greatly the source, and motion and music plus a few extra scenes have made me care more for Giorno than I ever did.

I agree. Part 5 is the highlight of my week. Too bad we didn't get Gangsta’s Paradise for the ED.

Mind you, my last comment was even before the boat dance, which is probably the craziest and most homage surpassing the original thing DP has done since the Oingo Boingo ending in Starduat Crusaders. It feels like with each part they feel bolder to do things in a different way. It does help I like character design more here than in Part 4 (it was really hard to ignore the characters' c*cknoses).

After you've watched the Golden Wind, consider watching "JoJo's Copyright Free Adventures In Italy."
A true YouTube gem.
Episode 2 just came out, too.

To be honest he is a bit of a fucked up version of Giorno, so the name works at so many levels lol. Same as with Dragona, not sure if these are big brain energy or just typical Araki pants on your head insanity.
First long chapter looking interesting! Particularly liking Dragona and Smooth Operator so much potential and he is much more likeable than Jodio so far, even if he is touted to be the MC.
