Is anyone reading the manga? If so, what are your thoughts?
Personally I'm not too keen on the deviation from the webcomic in the recent chapters.

On the art side, it's incredible Murata is really a top artist as usual. Now for the story i agree, the deviation has changed the storyline too much for my liking.
The final sequence of the Garou fight was much more fun in the original One webcomic by example, also the webcomic kept Blast and the cosmic entity a complete mystery while the manga is heavy handed in including those guys in the story so much.
No really, i think the manga shouldn't have deviated so much from the webcomic as it was good as it was. Unless Murata has decided his version of One Punch Man was going to end after the Garou fight, in which case i would understand why things were changed so much...

Yeah, the art is A+ as always, and we even get 2 chapters a month; don't know how he does it.
I was kinda disappointed when they sat down to talk (since I was waiting for the Garou vs S class fight, and Saitama's famous move...), wonder what made Murata change it. Was it ONE, or the fans' reaction, or maybe he just forgot about the rest of the fight (lol), I don't know... And now Garou became way too OP in my opinion (and therefore it looks like we yet again won't get those scenes from the webcomic). It kinda feels like not even Murata knows what he is doing or what he should be doing with the story. I'm kinda expecting we will get another redraw.
Since he started to build up Blast, the Avengers, and the cosmic entity, I don't think he is planning on finishing the manga here.

New chapter is out. w13.mangafreak.net/Read1_Onepunch_Man_167It was a good chapter, but my only problem is that Garou is waaaay too strong. Also, copying Saitama's moves is so stupid. How does someone copy "Consecutive Normal Punches"? Those are literally just consecutive normal punches, lol. It's not strong because it's a technique, it's strong because it's done by an insanely powerful person. Garou doing them should be weaker than his martial arts techniques. And copying the Serious Punch... that would imply every other punch from Garou wasn't serious. It's just stupid. I know I'm looking for too much logic here but it's still so stupid.

Looks like the fight's over, I'm not a big fun of the ending tho.

I must say the time travel punch to put the story back on its rails was hilariously entertaining
