Damn! Awesome chapter. Thanks One and Stew! The Oozeki might stand again, but he’ll have that crazy warped vision/concussion perspective going on, and may start seeing Shibukawa as a monster, or much bigger and intimidating than he did previously. This is Shibukawa’s winning pattern, as long as he keeps the momentum up.
In the next chapter, what are the odds we'll see the classic Itagaki artwork, where the brain is bouncing around inside of the skull? Just keep piling on that head trauma, Shibukawa.

At the moment it's the best fight the series had in a long time. Finally, I feel that the series is returning to its good times.

What would it take to top Baki vs. Yujiro? Man, that's a tall order.
My bias would lean towards Baki vs. Sukune in a real fight. Or Sukune vs. Yujiro. It seems like those 3 are in their own tier of total absurdity, especially with Oliva being dispatched of so easily.
A Hanayama vs. Sukune grip strength-based death match would be cool, but probably won't ever happen.
Also, did Shibukawa totally use M. Bison's patented head press technique in this chapter? Because it looked like it.

Thanks! Good spoilers.
Those 4chan comments, though.. Perhaps they were also dropped on their heads.

Well then, I wonder if Yujiro or Musashi could overthrow Aiki with brute force as well, I don't understand why Gouki is so surprised given the cast he is moving arround constantly.

Well then, I wonder if Yujiro or Musashi could overthrow Aiki with brute force as well, I don't understand why Gouki is so surprised given the cast he is moving arround constantly. It´s inconsistent. Now we are getting back into Martial Arts Territory again from all the fantasy shit. So theoretically, yes. But it´s not consistent power levels. Look how much they invested in Oliva, inmanga, i mean. And now all the Sumo guys are around his level or stronger, just living in obscurity?

Thanks, One and Stew! Agreed, Yujiro could overthrow Aiki with Brute Force, no problem. Remember when Baki vs. Yujiro started, and he was so pissed off that he started shaking the entire skyscraper hotel building he was standing in? Or when he punched and stopped an earthquake, or punched THROUGH solid concrete to escape Baki's Tiger King technique. What is Aiki going to do against that? Pickle, Sukune, and Baki could likely overturn Aiki with brute force, too. I'd say Oliva, but he was recently turned into a human accordion by Sukune, so he's out.
After Pickle got chopped up by Musashi, I hope he gets to live the rest of his days in peace. Just let the dude eat alligators and hang out in the sewers.

I only want to point out that Yujiro never stopped an earthquake, he had the confidence that the earthwquake would stop the moment he hit the ground BUT he didn't cause the tremor to stop himself. The key is the dialog from Strydum in the next page of the punch.
The other feats are rightly his though.

The key is the dialog from Strydum in the next page of the punch. Well, I'll be damned! I've been using that as my go-to example for Yujiro being stupidly Dragon Ball level powerful for years now. I think the anime dialog is what confused me, I'll go back and read the manga (wherever it is, kinda tough to find).
I guess Yujiro claiming he'd assassinate a Japanese politician and showing up at the mansion, only to push back 100 police officers by pure force alone is another good example of Aiki breaking power.

I guess Yujiro's pretty much always outside the scope of what is considered martial arts at this point. Like he doesn't even factor in those discussions and he's pretty much better than all of the other characters in their area of expertise (except aiki, I guess, although who knows, he did master xiaoli after all, it's just he doesn't like to use it).

Not exactly Baki related, but check out Itagaki's daughter Paru's manga about her home life (growing up with siblings and her Mom, and Dad was rarely home). In this chapter, she describes being Keisuke Itagaki's daughter. It's kind of intense. Getting some weird Yujiro-ish vibes off Keisuke. ww3.mangafox.online/paru-s-graffiti/chapter-5-a-bowl-of-soup-and-two-beers-for-a-feast-808747112809916Maybe it's a cultural thing, I don't know.
Also, what's with the whole beer ritual? If you pour a beer correctly, it shouldn't have a ton of foam, this is beer drinking 101 and I knew this when I was a 21 year dumbass kid.

Some people have weird quirks. Maybe Itagaki likes it better that way ?
Anyway, that's interesting, and... weird.
