I still don't understand why English dub VAs aren't coached to correctly pronounce words key to their series. 'Kengin'. Are they all going to talk like that?

The last manga chapter is really a bone for the fujos, or in other words

I, for one, welcome our new yaoi overlords. But more seriously, while that was definitely played for laughs or yaoi-bait, a bi-gay main character in an action shonen manga would be groundbreaking.

It would, lots of transvesties and gay characters in manga, but they are always side characters, and presenting a battle shounen MC that is openly gay (and not asexual as all always appear to be, even rejecting sex or being attracted to women) would definetly be a novelty. I could see not-ohma being gay.

Apparently each fighter will have a song as an intro when they enter the combat arena:

Finally watched the anime a few weeks ago. Pretty bad ass. I wonder how these fights circumvent anti-trust and monopoly laws lol

Hey para. I watched the anime, too. Part of it were badass, I agree, the intro and ending songs were fitting.
The actual fights had some nice moments, however a lot of the animation was clunky, and reminded me of the cheaply made Berserk reboot.
If I had to narrow it down to its best qualities, it would be: the voice acting, sound design, and soundtrack.

Seems that Omega is picking up the pace, I'm liking the developments thus far.

It's a really fun sequel so far. That last chapter looked weird, though, like either the artist had very little time and didn't take great care or he was trying out a slightly different style and it hasn't geled together yet. Some of the heads looked wonky.

I have yet to read the manga. Cel-shading in anime is still a young technique and unfortunately, Kengan Ashura is victim to being part of an early techinque

That page of Koga looking at Ryuki with all their "nice" moments together with a sliding bloody corpse behind him is glorious. Shit has not yuet hit the fan, but I'd say it's getting there.
