So I bring this manga I discovered the other day and which I read up the 36 (37 now) chapters that are out, and I've gotta say, I'm gladly impressed by it. If you folks enjoy Baki and Tough this one will be your cup of tea all right! I hate to link mangafox, but the scanlation guys at Hokuto no Gun don't have their own reader so... here mangafox.me/manga/kengan_ashua/

Ohh I never bother looking on batoto, just do a quick google search "read <manga name>", then pick the first link that works. Anyway, if someone has read this we can compare the incoming tournament with baki's maximun tournament that One and the guys are scanlating right now too, see how both authors took the same concept and how they worked it. The main difference for now is that the main character here has already been told several times, and by guys not that much stronger than him. I also got some "kaiji" feels with people looking for the loopholes in the rules to survive in the ship.

Still reading it. It's as good a fighting shonen as any. Uncomplicated dynamic one on one fights. It doesn't have the unique weirdness of Baki, but it's definitely enjoyable.

We've had that trailer since March. However, the English subtitles from the parent company suggests to me that they're making a Netflix-type deal, which could be good. Could be bad. From what we can glean from the trailer, though, it'll be bad.
Do any of you keep up with the raw releases and the 4chan translations of them?

Yes, currently the manga is in the final of the Kengan Tournament. I did not expect the result of the last semi-final fight.
