I just got up whjere the scanlations got and then stopped there, didn't kept following it. Ahh, you're missing out on so much. It's really so much more than a secondary Baki at this point. I don't think that it has the legs to tell a neverending story like Baki, though; its value is going to be tied to how well they can end this. It's convoluted as hell so, if they can untangle a thousand knots all at once, this could become a 'pinnacle' of a fighting manga.
And, with you not having read the raws, we can't discuss the current happenings here! Well, not unless we start another thread or spoiler every single word of our posts.

How much do you imagine they'll get to adapting? 4chan has many, varied views on this.
I say that there's no way that they can even get to round 2 and have it remain paced in an agreeable or satisfactory way. Much time is spent on narratory explanatory monologue in each fight. Omitting this breaks the work. Including this means like 8 proper matches in total. Unless, of course, this is 24 episodes - which seems massively unlikely.

Hokuto no Gun is releasing one chapter per day. With some luck in a few months we will have the manga translated completely into English.

What I liked was how they not-at-all-subtly implied that the previous typesetter was on drugs. But, yeah, hopefully, they'll finish sooner rather than later. Maybe they'll even finish in time for the release of the possible (probable) sequel manga. That'd be neat.
