Apparently the second series will be released in January, and the anime will also be released in that month.

The good thing is that we are going to have the first part translated in its entirety at the moment of starting the second. I don't think so. Hokuto no Gun said that, after the next two or three chapters are released, they will break until the last volume is released, I believe. And, as far as I know, the last volume doesn't even have a release date set. I mean, I did translate those missing chapters, but they're not scanlated.

As i just finished it on mangadex this serie really surprised me, i started checking a couple of chapters and got hooked enough to read it whole. The author has really a special skill in making characters charismatic enough so you want to know more about them, even if they only appear for a fight or are just left in side panels. While the story in itself wasn't really anything to take big notes, the dynamics of the fights and as mentionned the characters charisma and the interactions really made it a fantastic read. Rather ballsy from the author to end the serie like that, wouldn't have expected that but that's one of the charm of this story, in the end it makes this Kengan Asura feels complete. Oh i know there's a sequel serie coming with the "oh but there are even stronger guys that are going to pop up out of nowhere" thingy that is found in so many mangas, but at least if the author can keep up creating even short lived characters with that much charisma and interest, i'm sold

One thing about the Asuras in myuthology, if I recall correctly, is that they always come back to life, so expect more Ohma in part 2.

Started to read it on mangadex , not sure why the author decided to give the same face as Ohma to one of the new character maybe there's some secret hidden brother thingy or some clone army plot

Yeah, not sure what's up with that. I was okay with the new guy being a total newcomer and not apparently knowing some totally broken martial art at first. Then, we got Ohma's clone. I mean, at least he has a different personnality, but part of me hopes he doesn't end up being the main character, cause that'd be pretty cheap.

Find it fun the first guy presented was calkled Narushima, like in Shamo. I hope the authors can keep this balanced and don't turn their series down to shit like Shamo.
Edit: Loved that Yamashita knows about the Tokugawa undergrond arena.

THey set up the tournament so quickly this time arround, but I agree with the decision, no need to messa rroudn to introduce the world like in the first series anymore so, pick your 13 fighters for the Kengan asociation and some candidates to have turned to the other side:
Kengan:
- Imai Cosmo - Gaoh Ryuki or Narushima, maybe both (will count only 1 spot for now). - Wakatsuki Takeshi - Gaolang Wongsawat - Kure Raian - Akoya Seishu - Kono Haruo - Mikazuchi Rei - Rihito (the Beard won't directly participate but will have an off-the tournament fight.) - Hatsumi Sen
The 3 -4 free spots will be for new characters.
Purgatory fighters that were former Kengan:
- Muteba - Kanoh Agito - Setsuna - Yoroizuka Saw Paing if only to have a chance to fight vs Gaolang.
In addition we will have the third party "evil is on the move" to set up some chaos.

That was when SHamo was at it's peak and Narushima a most interesting character than whatever happened afterwards.
