so two scenarios: Either the sword saint wins and then he has to fight his grandson, or Choko wins and then Yagu will utterly murder him showing the old man that he has already suprassed him.

Really can't figure what's going to happen here. It does feel like Sword Saint dude could have just murdered Choko several times over given how easily he's been dodging him. The author seems pretty set on building Choko up, though. Kotaro did get the win while fighting unarmed in the end, and Choko's physical stats seem on par with juiced-up Kotaro at least, but... We'll see, but I feel Choko's gonna have to turn it up another notch if he's gonna take this.

This manga is not getting any less weird.
Not a fan of the wind blades. It's a bit of a bullshit power on top of bullshit and a biiit of a stretch even for this.
Also this sumo guy is so dead. Kamizumi is just playing with his food at this point, there's no tension, he could have killed him like five times over at this point. Maybe if Choko gets a lucky hit or manages to grab a piece of him he could end it, but that's a big if.

With the translation that last part of the fight felt much less weird than the chapter before it.
Though i think there is some fun potential to have a fight between Ninja doped She-Hulk vs Sumo sonicboom Hulk, hopefully they'll both beat their opponents so we have such match happening.

So for that to happen it will be Musashi vs she-hulk, and the blood lust samurai vs Chocko, and honestly I don't think it will happen.
Musashi vs Yagyu has too much potential (thematically here as well as the real historical connotations) to skip it, for that to happen they both need to win, and I don't think that'll be hard for the authors to write in a satisfactory manner.

I'm still hoping She Hulk will destroy Musashi, as it's probably one of the most annoying manga incarnation of that character, but will sword insane maniac be able to defeat sonic boom sumo, i'm not really sure especially after what he seemed to have been taught regarding those "gates" by magic sword young-old man (noticable from chocko's eyes that are now similar to the sword saint ones).
Still rooting for ninja doped She Hulk.

I think Musashi, as in this incarnation is depicted, is the type of "I see something ocne now I can do it" in the likeness of Yujiro, so watching all this fights will increase his arsenal and tactics tenfold at least, and according to the stroy Kotaro has already shown all her cards in the fight with Saiga so I don't see it really balancing to that side.
Regarding Yagu vs Choko I think he will reveal that he already got the two gates opened a long time ago but using them made fight boring, and will show how they work with a true young man, not a rejuveneced elderly with no more bloodlust, I picture this fight along the lines of Baki's Musashi vs Pickle "ohhhh, I can cut you over and over and you won't die!" then it will turn for the worst "YOU NOT DYING IS MAKING ME ANGRY!", maybe he has the gates of hell oepned or something instead the celestial ones, who knows.
So next fight is Sasaki Kojiro vs Hattori Hanzo, and I don't think this incarnation will be a blacksmith, but iit would be amazing if he was... and wins.

In the same time it seems that in this story Munenori only movitation in living is cutting people's flesh, and if they die he can't cut them anymore and he will not be happy. So i imagine if he's not bisected in half by sonic boom sumo, our sword maniac may be in for his most enjoyable "fight" considering how hard to cut (and kill) Choko is supposed to be. Yeah, i'm sure sadly Musashi will win as "Musashi is the best in the universe ever forever" is one of those manga things apparently, but still i'm hoping Kotaro will prevail, i want to see my doped ninja she-hulk vs sonic boom sumo fight lol  |
