I'm on team Cosmo for this fight But i hope Saw Paing will display a bit more of regular fighting instead of headbutt, headbutt then headbutt, that can't be good for his brain not getting badly damaged after a while. Surprisingly he started rather well in that department as i wasn't expecting him going with some nice tricky kicks, but he still had to headbutt his way out of being locked on the ground, after all the author made Cosmo fighting style grow along his submission techniques and i really hope he'll do the same for Saw Paing for a more interesting match.

It's the first headbutt he's used so far, though, and I thought that was a really smart one. That was something I was a little disappointed in back in Kengan Asura. Lethwei's big difference with other similar combat sports is the use of heabutts, but in the end, he never really got a good use of them. DOn't forget he (I think) didn't use headbutts against the fisherman, but had some pretty rad elbows, so I'm pretty sure we'll see those as well.
I'm okay with either of them winning, in the end, but I'd like to see more of Saw Paing, since Cosmo had some good mileage in Asura already, so I'd like him to win that one. Saw Paing vs Koga could be pretty awesome.

But we haven't seen Koga deal with great grapplers, so him fighting Cosmo and winning will further his development.

It's also a good fight, sure. But I'm thinking there's a decent chance he'll be in the next KAT unless he gets seriously injured. Plus I wanna see more Saw Paing.

New chapter that conclude already the fight, i wish there would have been one more chapter, feels a bit rushed for a match that was interesting.

Nice fight, Hard to believe soemeone whos about to collapse due to lack of oxygen comming to his brain to power like that, that's the thing about chokes, you cannot overpower them, oh well.. what was comming next? Ah Mark Myers Vs Lihito. I hope we can see some real growth from Lihito after 4 years of training with the beard, his fight in the previous tournament was really underwhelming on that regard.

Yeah, there's no "fighting spirit" that will prevent you from passing out when the brain is deprived of its oxygen. But i guess that's a one of those time in which the "power of cool" prevail on some level of realism to give Saw Paing his win, but i really wonder what will be the state of his brain after a couple more years headbutting walls and floors in every of his fights as this is to me the worst part of the character.
Rihito despite all the hype has been really disapointing recently, sure his opponents were strong fighters but still considering who is "training" him i expected more. Hopefully his incoming fight will be his time to shine, his opponent Mark Myers is shown as being "only" on the B-list in Purgatory

Technically, it's the blood flow that's constrained, not air (though the blood does carry oxygen ok). Then, they did mention that Cosmo's choke wasn't perfectly set, so I buy Saw Paing gatsu-ing through it, it's been done, I remember some guy who got caught in a rear naked choke, got up and tried to escape it essentially by somersaulting forward. It didn't work and he knocked himself out, but the idea was there, and Saw Paing made it work because he's a beast.

Welp, he could have grabbed cosmo's legs (so he could not escape) and jumped oputside of the arena with his back first, that way Cosmo would have lost as well.

I'm a bit disapointed that Saw Paing (and Cosmo in that case) best fights were still in Kengan Asura, though overall i have always found the quality of the fights has noticably been better in Asura than in Omega. Not that the Omega fights are bad, it's just that the Asura ones were just better.
Compare Saw Paing vs the giant fisherman and now Saw Paing vs Cosmo, while this recent battle was good back in the Asura days the giant fisherman fight was objectively much better, even his losing fight with the super fast notSasuke was noticably of better quality.

Nice transition chapter, hoping this fight is fun for us and rewarding for Lihito.

Everytime i see the "connector" acting around, i wonder what the hell is really the worm goal, that guy seems to have no care about anything but just chilling and having fun, as if he has absolutely no plan and just enjoy his time, while the worm seems to treat him as he if was some godlike entity.
Unless the "connector" simply does not care about the worm objectives at all and is just there because they're giving him some good free beer or something ?

new chapter It was a nice and clean short fight for Rihito, looks like he really improved and fougth with more intelligence. Though i'm not sure he understand the "no killing" rule , because that last strike

Finally some payback for Lihito, looking good here.
Saw Ping vs Lihito will be a nice match to watch, so Koga VS Silva and Gaoh vs Adam next.
So my prediction is that Koga will advance, there will be an upset and Ryuki will either lose or get disqualified and Adam won't be able to face Koga, then Lihito wins against Saw Ping and the finals will be Lihito VS Koga, which Koga will win.
