Anyways seeing how that chapter is ending with the big bad arriving (especially with how much Ohma is hyping Mukaku as being a true fighting monster above everyone he saw), i wonder if we'll really get to see that Mukaku vs Connector fight or if Sandrovich will just troll everyone and we'll only get a dead Mukaku next chapter

My bet is that we will see it as a flashback when Ryuki Ohma and Koga confront him.

Well soem developments (or not) since the last post... I'm disappointed though, Mukaku has been degraded to be used to just hype up Shen.-.. oh well...

At least the Connector seems to live up to the hype from the past chapter in which Xia met him when the Connector was fishing in a swimming pool.

But in the same time, considering how Shen is toying with Mukaku (that even Ohma judged as stronger than mostly everyone) means he's so above everyone that it feels there's no way anyone in the Kengan top list can ever hope to beat him.

I wonder what kind of contrived plot will allow Shen to be defeated by the crew in the end.

At least, Mukaku isn't dead yet. I wonder if he's gonna die here. It would be expected, but I feel a guy as vindictive and crafty as him could make it out alive.

As for Shen Wulong, eh, there's still the new KAT that was announced, so we can expect some more powering up by the good guys. While the gap is made to look insurmountable for dramatic effect, it was the same with Edward Wu, and he still got pwned, even though it took poison.

I wouldn't be surprised that crafty old Mukaku may have rigged his whole house with explosives in case he couldn't kill Shen in other ways.
Though in such case making it out alive would be harder for old trickster.

But regarding Shen level of power, i really hope that Kengan isn't going through a "power up" arc phase for the characters like in a dbz type of manga.
At least with Edward the Kure guys got to gang up on him to finally get him killed.

Already with Koga it's annoying to get him in short notice suddenly top level, but i hope things stay semi-reasonnable to stay relatively believable, like when people reach their peak there's no powerup thing to make them suddenly stronger without serious consequences (like when roid-ing leading into various health issue later on the road).

I usually dislike those manga powerup tropes, the "advance" is already annoying enough (though at last it has severe drawbacks like Ohma and Fei got).

Nah, it will be Koga who defeats Shen.

But now I'm wondering how the fights between Shen and Mukaku vs Agito and Kuroki (not a 2vs 2, but the combinatory) would go.

So new chapter, basically Shen is the Kengan equivalent of Yujiro.
I wonder then why Ryuki or Ohma being his clones are nowhere close to that kind of strength considering they've been fighting all their life, while Shen hasn't been fighting as much to get stronger because the worm has been doing all the fighting for him.

Well, so the ride is now this... But in Omega bad guys can only defeat bad guys, so Shen is out of luck no matter hoiw oeverpowered he is.

Well, we need to confirm he IS a bad guy after all, we have no evidence of him ever doing or ordering anything bad himself.

Some more flashback explanation of the Mukaku vs Shen hatred this chapter.
Mukaku is really crafty and smart in the end of this chapter, after Niko style he has Batman preparation style too.
Though unfortunately plot armor is a thing in this manga

I really like Mukaku and how dirty he fights. He's pretty similar to Muteba in a lot of ways.

Would really be interesting if Mukaku last trick actually worked despite Shen plot armor, would change a lot the expected story progression if there's no more Shen after that chapter as i'm unsure then where the story would go.

As this is a martial arts manga I know that swords > guns but still... some good piercing rounds at that distance would surely be effective, oh well.

In any case yeah, Gaoh is crafty and we have confirmation that Ohma and Ryuki are clearly clones of the Dark haired Shen, I wonder if current Shen dyes his hair of if the previous one was playing with genetics or something.

Nah Gaoh might get out of here severly crippled if he gets to survive, but all this arc is for is to clearly establish Shen as the final goal for Koga.

So new chapter mostly went exactly the way i thought it would go unfortunately (with the "he's never breathing" technique being ridiculous considering how much important oxygen is for muscles when doing any effort), excepted for 2 twists with the reveal about Shen being -much- older than he looks and more importantly the "there's more than one" that i wonder why as Kengan was not lacking in amount of antagonists already.

I wonder if the 2nd Connector is the "unknown" guy we just see at the end of this new chapter greeting various troops.
Stay tuned for the next chapter in which we'll learned there's a ... 3rd Connector

Or wait for the new reveal that the 2nd Connector has been ... Ryuki since the beginning, that just used some technique to remove all his memories and hide his real strength.
