Could be the other connector, the oen Ohma is a clone from, or Niko #3 as we didn't got confirmation of what happened to him, or a totally new and unexpected character!

Nah, it's definitely a Shen clone or something along those lines, unless Sandro is trolling. I do wonder about Niko 3, but he'd be way older than that.

Does Niko 3 even exist ? i mean Mukaku has been making up stories and lied all along about so many things, his tale about the Niko guys could be just yet another lie.

New chapter with a new tournament announced and for the qualifications (so far Rolon is the only one currently qualified) we get an interesting matchup : Agito vs Arashiyama starting in the end of that chapter.

Hm, I dunno. The fight's interesting, but it's still got the low stakes problem of Omega, which for a fight of this level is a bit of a shame.
Honestly, I also find the art sloppy. The impacts of the blows and the physicality of the fighters aren't really conveyed, in my opinion.

I agree, Daro is not giving this his all, he peaked at the end of Ashura.

Odd that we get another combat between top fighters like we did with Cosmo vs Saw Paing, Rihito vs Saw Paing and Sekibayashi vs Okubo for small tourneys instead of the main Kengan one

I think the author and artists want to milk their cast, but they can't just put everyone in the series' big tourney either or it's just never gonna end. I get they want to do some weeding out so they end up with a mix of top fighters and underdogs.

could just use all the 2nd tier new guys for lesser tourneys and keep the top fighters for the Kengan.
new chapter The way the impact was pencilled, i'm surprised Agito's head didn't split in half, though i wonder how he'll continue the fight with that kind of damage.

Ok, that chapter was kinda good, I thought.
could just use all the 2nd tier new guys for lesser tourneys and keep the top fighters for the Kengan. I disagree. I see your point, but I believe the KAT in the first series was stronger for having discrepancies between the strengths of the fighters, or at least their perceived strengths. For example, Cosmo did not look like he would go that far, and his arc was so good because he defied expectations and stood up to monsters. Mokichi being decidedly weaker than Raian made for a totally unbalanced fight, but it built up Raian and showed his savagery. The tall dude Rei annihilated in the first round was a letdown, but that letdown was a surprise, given how dramatic the fights had been until there.
It's good to have an uneven roster for the tournament, because if all the fighters are top level, then they don't have that much room to grow, to show new facets; there are no real upsets when a weaker opponent beats a stronger one. And sure, Agito did grow during the tournament, despite being at the top of Kengan already, but that's what made him so scary, the fact that despite being already OP, he could still learn and evolve, and that was a unique combination.

Now that was an upset.

True, but Arashiyama was built up to be one of the topest of the tops, so it's not out of nowhere either. I really wonder what this tournament is going to be, if it's the next Kengan tournament, or something else, cause it'd be something to have KAT and not have Agito in it. Wonder what's in store for Arashiyama.

Agito lost, well, I was kind of expecting it, but it's surprising still that he won't be in the next big tournament.
