Personnally i really wasn't expecting Agito to lose this one, even with Arashiyama "upgrade" of now using punch and kicks and being one of the top fighter in Purgatory.
Congrat to the author for surprising me there.

Not a fight I expected to see, but an interesting idea, as we've mostly seen Hatsumi against really offensive types. Kaneda's more crafty approach raises questions.
That said, I still expect Hatsumi to pummel him, unless Kaneda has has a massive powerup since last time. Although, it is known that Hatsumi can be very inconsistent, so he might get a bit sloppy if he's not at his best, here.

That was a really odd fight in the end in that last couple of chapters with the characters basically going slow-motion.
I wonder what's next, some more story progression or another fight.

Anyway this fight was fun with "top / meta" level with the thoughts manipulation, really unexpected, but the outcome was logical and good. |

Found it funny that Metsudo called him "young man" as if he's in the same case of "breathing technique" thingy like the other Connector does, the "young man" may be much older than him.
strange that the body guard of the worm boss is not having a defined name yet, may it means he's more important than he seems to be ?
Anyways i really wonder where the story goes next after this

Well, Luohan is a clone, so he can't be THAT old. Cloning tech in Kengan seems definitely more advanced than in our world, but I still doubt they had that tech that long ago.

The connector is easily on Yujiro powerlevel right now.
So maybe it can work as long as the connector does not need to be defeated for the story similarly as Yujiro does not need to be defeated in any Baki story.
Because the way it is now, the power difference between the connector and everyone else in the book is the same type of difference Yujiro and the average grappler and so it would make no sense at all that anyone could manage to beat him (and the intentionally crippling himself trick would get old fast).
